Guided by our purpose Better Homes. Better Lives. For Everyone. We believe a better world starts with better homes, and we work every day to make that a reality. AI is reshaping how retailers operate, make decisions, and deliver value to customers. At Kingfisher, our Group AI team is building scalable, responsible AI products that support smarter operations, improved customer experiences, and stronger commercial outcomes across our international banners.

We are looking for an AI Product Owner to help drive the vision, prioritisation, and delivery of AI products across the Group. This role is suited to a commercially minded product professional who can balance business value, technical complexity, stakeholder expectations, and delivery outcomes within a fast-moving enterprise environment.

As an AI Product Owner, you will be responsible for maximising the value delivered by AI products across Kingfisher. You will define product vision and priorities, own the backlog, and work closely with business stakeholders, engineering, data science, and delivery teams to turn complex business challenges into scalable AI solutions.

You will play a key role in shaping AI use cases, defining measurable outcomes, and ensuring products are delivered responsibly, effectively, and with clear business impact.

This role requires strong stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and the ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining focus on long-term value delivery and adoption.

What's the job?

  • Own the vision, roadmap, and value delivery for Group AI products aligned to business strategy and objectives
  • Engage senior stakeholders across banners and functions to align priorities and manage dependencies
  • Translate business requirements into clear AI product propositions, MVPs, and prioritised backlogs
  • Balance business value, technical feasibility, data readiness, and risk when making delivery decisions
  • Define and track outcome-based success measures to demonstrate impact, adoption, and product performance
  • Continuously refine priorities and scope based on delivery outcomes, feedback, and learning
  • Partner with Technology and business teams to ensure AI products remain scalable, reliable, and continuously improved
  • Support the adoption and optimisation of AI products across the organisation
  • Ensure stakeholders feel heard and engaged, even where competing priorities impact roadmap decisions
  • Champion responsible AI practices throughout the product lifecycle

What you'll bring

  • Previous Product Owner or Product Management experience within technology or digital delivery environments
  • Strong understanding of agile delivery methodologies and product management practices
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams including technology, engineering, data, and business stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with confident IT literacy
  • Experience delivering IT-related change initiatives within complex business environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and facilitation skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building capability across all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and make informed trade-off decisions
  • Collaborative mindset with strong team-working capability
  • Experience building and delivering initiatives using structured project or product methodologies
