Sourcing Specialist

Supporting the Product Sourcing Managers and their Vendor relationships through timely and accurate communication, including, but not limited to:

• General vendor queries & communication
• Facilitating vendor activities to deliver on project deadlines
• Support identification of new vendors
• Product data Maintenance, creation and issue resolution
• Setting up new vendor contracts on the Kingfisher system and ensuring relevant information is validated and maintained
• Co-ordination of meetings and conversations across the group
• Team / Category administration and support
• Internal stakeholder / relationship management
• Occasional visits to vendors / stores, some travel may be required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
• Effective time management skills
• Excellent verbal & written communication
•  Keen attention to detail & accuracy
• Strong numerical ability
• Basic project management skills
• Prior procurement/ retail experience
