About the role
We are looking for an experienced Agile leader to strengthen delivery capability and increase Agile maturity across the organisation.
In this role, you will equip squads with effective Agile methodologies and tools, coach teams on running outcome-focused ceremonies, and use maturity and performance data to drive continuous improvement.
You will also contribute at an enterprise level by shaping and refining the Enterprise Agile Process, defining Agile competencies and career paths, supporting capability development, and embedding consistent Agile standards and practices across the organisation.

Responsibilities
Define, socialise and embed Agile Standards across the organisation, covering frameworks, processes, tooling, metrics, flow, value, health and delivery measures, ensuring alignment with Technology standards and enterprise principles.
Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Agile Process in partnership with Domain and Sub-Domain Leadership and facilitate key planning and governance events to drive consistent Agile adoption at scale.
Develop and maintain Agile capability frameworks, including an Agile Skills Framework, career pathways for Agile Coaches and a Skills Strategy aligned to Agile standards and delivery excellence.
Design and deliver Agile learning curricula and targeted development programmes, such as foundations, metrics, lifecycle, frameworks and culture, using leadership feedback and performance insights to address capability gaps.
Coach squads to operate effectively within agreed Agile principles, processes and tooling, including running effective ceremonies such as stand-ups, refinement, planning and retrospectives, reducing reliance on dedicated Scrum Master support.
Conduct maturity assessments and provide assurance at squad level to evaluate alignment with standards and processes, identify capability gaps and recommend actionable improvements.
Use performance data and squad insights to support leadership discussions, introduce new ways of working and drive continuous improvement across teams and domains, while actively contributing to the Agile Community of Practice and sharing industry best practice.
Proven experience of Scrum and Agile practices
Experience of Agile coaching in a complex and large Agile organisation
Experience of managing large teams, developing capability and driving high performance
Proven ability to drive change, take ownership of their delivery and be an effective communicator
Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
Able to work under pressure and prioritise workload effectively
Has a recognised Agile Practice Qualification
Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
